Family Optometric Associates is locally owned and operated serving the San Diego, California area since 2015. We are located within the San Diego Navy Exchange.
When you visit us for an eye exam Dr. Theresa Floresca will evaluate your visual health. This includes general eye examinations for correction of farsightedness, nearsightedness, presbyopia, and astigmatism. The doctor will also diagnose, manage and treat diseases and disorders of the visual system. Thorough examinations of the external and internal structure of the eyes are performed to evaluate for many ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disorders, and systemic disorders including hypertension and diabetes.
Dr. Brian Vo
Dr. Brian Vo is a dedicated optometrist with a strong background in comprehensive eye care and a deep commitment to caring for military members and their families. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. Driven by a deep interest in ocular health, he pursued a residency in ocular disease at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, where he gained advanced clinical experience managing complex eye conditions.
Today, Dr. Vo is proud to provide care to service members and their families, continuing the mission-driven work he came to value during his time at the VA. He has a special interest in primary eye care, ocular disease management, and myopia control, and is committed to delivering thorough, personalized care to every patient. His approach blends clinical excellence with a sincere dedication to helping patients improve their vision and their overall quality of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Vo enjoys rock climbing, scuba diving, and relaxing at home with his two cats.
