Family Optometric Associates is locally owned and operated serving the San Diego, California area since 2015. We are located within the San Diego Navy Exchange.
When you visit us for an eye exam Dr. Theresa Floresca will evaluate your visual health. This includes general eye examinations for correction of farsightedness, nearsightedness, presbyopia, and astigmatism. The doctor will also diagnose, manage and treat diseases and disorders of the visual system. Thorough examinations of the external and internal structure of the eyes are performed to evaluate for many ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disorders, and systemic disorders including hypertension and diabetes.
Dr. Theresa Floresca
Dr. Theresa Floresca graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry/Cell Biology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2011. Dr. Floresca is certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases, with special interest in Dry Eye disease and Diabetic Retinopathy. She has gained experience in a variety of clinical settings throughout San Diego and the Coachella Valley. Dr. Floresca is a native San Diegan and her father served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years. She is passionate about serving the community and proud to be able to provide quality eye care to our service members and their families. In her free time, she enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with her family and Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
