Family Optometric Associates was founded in 1992 by Dr. Steven Chado.  Dr. Chado graduated in 1983 from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and, after working in private practice, he established a practice at the Norfolk Naval Station Base Exchange.  Since then, Dr. Chado and Family Optometric Associates have established practices in in Naval Exchanges in Oahu, Hawaii; San Diego, California; and Walter Reed National Naval Medical Center; and Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  Our philosophy is to provide outstanding customer service that only a private doctor’s office can give.”
